About Gathering in a Box
A planner for the host of an ordinary gathering: the cookout, the birthday, the dinner party, the holiday open house.
It has three parts: the Gathering Planner, which turns your numbers into quantities, a budget split, a timeline and food-safety times; How it counts, which shows every rule of thumb it uses; and a private Gathering Box that keeps each gathering's plan and invitation list and prints a host kit.
What it is not
- Not a shop. Despite the name, there is no physical box: it sells and ships nothing, has no affiliate links and takes no money from stores or brands.
- Not an invitation service. It sends no email or texts; you invite people your own way and note their replies here.
- Not a caterer or a food-safety inspector. The quantities are estimates; the food-safety lines repeat public USDA and FDA guidance.
Who runs it
Gathering in a Box is made and run by WeldonPC.com, an IT company in Ohio. Its public pages show one banner ad from adengine.us, WeldonPC's own small ad network; Privacy says what that ad loads and what it does not.
